Today was our first day of program training. We had an orientation of the program events and we got to talk about what we would be doing each day during an 8 day long event. After lunch, we had hiking orientation and we went on a group hike with the Program coordinator to Adelboden. We went on a scavenger hunt in the village town, found the Staff Our Chalet bench, and discovered a different route back to the chalet. The walk from Adelboden to the chalet is about a 30 minute up hill walk, and it is tiring! The town adventure was fun =) We had an evening program too—WAGGGS Centenary Game! It was a game where we took pictures, drew the globe, found out facts about scouting and guiding, and talked about the WAGGGS Global Action Themes.
